Quote & Cut includes a reset option for restoring the frontend form style settings back to the plugin defaults.
You can find this option from:
Quote & Cut → Styles
At the bottom of the page, click:
Reset to Default Style
What gets reset #
Resetting styles restores the plugin defaults for:
- Frontend form layout.
- Plugin colour palette.
- Preview effects.
- Typography.
- Preview effect colour.
- Multi-part job image.
Confirmation message #
When you click the reset button, Quote & Cut asks you to confirm before continuing.
The reset will only run if you confirm the action.
What does not get reset #
The reset button does not remove custom CSS added outside the plugin.
For example, it does not remove CSS added in:
- Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS
- A child theme stylesheet.
- A page builder custom CSS area.
- A custom CSS plugin.
- A code snippets plugin.
- A custom theme file.
If the form still looks customised after resetting, check these locations.
When to reset styles #
Reset styles if:
- The form no longer matches the expected layout.
- You want to start branding again from the plugin defaults.
- You have tested multiple palettes and want a clean reset.
- You are troubleshooting a visual issue.
- Support asks you to reset the plugin style settings.
Before resetting #
Before resetting, consider taking screenshots or copying your current colours and font choices.
This makes it easier to rebuild the style later if needed.
After resetting #
After resetting:
- Open the quote form page.
- Check the layout.
- Check the colours.
- Check the fonts.
- Upload a DXF file.
- Calculate a test price.
- Check the cart image if you use a custom multi-part image.
If the form still looks wrong #
If the form still looks wrong after resetting:
- Clear your website cache.
- Clear browser cache.
- Check custom CSS areas.
- Check your theme styling.
- Check page builder settings.
- Check whether a WooCommerce cart plugin is styling cart/order displays.
- Temporarily switch off custom CSS to test again.
