Use this guide if Quote & Cut Advanced is not activating, Secondary Processes are paused, or folding and powder coating are not appearing as expected.
Advanced will not activate #
Check:
- Quote & Cut is installed.
- Quote & Cut is active.
- You uploaded the correct Advanced plugin ZIP.
- Your WordPress site meets the plugin requirements.
- You are logged in as an administrator.
Quote & Cut Advanced requires the core Quote & Cut plugin.
Secondary Processes menu is missing #
If Quote & Cut → Secondary Processes is missing, check:
- Quote & Cut Advanced is installed.
- Quote & Cut Advanced is active.
- Quote & Cut core plugin is active.
- You are using an administrator account.
- The plugin activation completed successfully.
Advanced features are paused #
If the Secondary Processes page says features are paused, check:
- API key is saved.
- Site binding is active.
- Account status is connected.
- Account status has been refreshed.
- Your quoteandcut.com account includes Advanced or Enterprise.
- You are using the correct API key for the account that purchased Advanced.
Go to:
Quote & Cut → Settings
Then click:
Refresh account status
Settings are disabled #
If folding and powder coating settings are visible but disabled, Advanced processing is currently paused.
Your saved configuration is preserved, but changes cannot be saved until Advanced access is restored.
Folding does not appear on the quote form #
Check:
- Advanced is active.
- Secondary Processes are not paused.
- Folding is enabled.
- Folding pricing fields are completed.
- Folding limits are completed.
- The selected material is allowed.
- The selected thickness is allowed.
- The uploaded part is within length, width, and weight limits.
- You clicked Save Secondary Processes.
Powder coating does not appear on the quote form #
Check:
- Advanced is active.
- Secondary Processes are not paused.
- Powder coating is enabled.
- Powder coating limits are completed.
- Powder coverage rate is set.
- Setup fee, minimum charge, and per-part charge are configured.
- At least one colour is enabled.
- At least one enabled colour has a finish price.
- The uploaded part is within length, width, and weight limits.
- You clicked Save Secondary Processes.
Other Colour prevents automatic pricing #
This is expected.
Other Colour is designed for manual quote enquiries.
If a customer selects Other Colour, Quote & Cut prevents automatic pricing and shows your manual quote message.
Disable Other Colour if you do not want this manual quote behaviour.
Folding drawing upload fails #
Check:
- File type is supported.
- File size is within the allowed limit.
- Total upload size is within the allowed limit.
- WordPress uploads are working.
- Server upload limits are high enough.
- File permissions allow uploads.
- Security plugins are not blocking the file type.
Advanced costs are not added to the quote #
Check:
- The customer selected the Secondary Process before calculating.
- The customer clicked Calculate Price after selecting the process.
- Required process fields were completed.
- Folding has a valid fold count.
- Powder coating has a colour and finish.
- Other Colour is not selected.
- Required pricing fields are configured.
- The process is available for the selected part.
Advanced details missing from the order #
Check:
- The quote was calculated after selecting Secondary Processes.
- The customer added the calculated quote to cart.
- The order contains Quote & Cut job data.
- Advanced was active when the order was placed.
- Folding or powder coating was selected before checkout.

- Screenshot of the frontend quote form.
- DXF file used for testing.
- Material and quantity selected.
- Folding or powder coating selections.
- WooCommerce order number, if the issue happened after checkout.
Do not include your API key in screenshots or support messages.
