The Typography section controls the fonts used across the Quote & Cut frontend form.
You can find these settings from:
Quote & Cut → Styles → Typography
How typography works #
Each typography field can be left on Default or changed to a selected font.
If a field is left on Default, Quote & Cut uses the current plugin default for that part of the form.
Default layout fonts #
The default font depends on the selected form layout.
Studio uses Montserrat by default.
Classic and Workbench use Inter by default.
Available typography fields #
Quote & Cut includes separate typography controls for:
- Body text.
- Headings.
- Labels & helper text.
- Inputs & selects.
- Buttons & actions.
- Prices & totals.
Body text #
The Body text font is used for main descriptive text across the frontend form.
Use this for the general reading style of the quote form.
Headings #
The Headings font is used for panel titles and major section headings.
Use this if you want the Quote & Cut form headings to match your site headings.
Labels & helper text #
The Labels & helper text font is used for form labels, small meta text, helper copy, and status captions.
Use a clear, readable font here because these labels help customers complete the quote form correctly.
Inputs & selects #
The Inputs & selects font is used inside form fields, dropdowns, and upload controls.
This affects areas such as:
- Material dropdowns.
- Quantity inputs.
- File upload controls.
- Select fields.
Buttons & actions #
The Buttons & actions font is used for action buttons such as:
- Calculate Price.
- Add Another Part.
- Add to Cart.
- Apply to All.
- Remove Part.
Prices & totals #
The Prices & totals font is used for quote totals, prices, and high-emphasis numeric values.
Choose a font that makes prices clear and easy to read.
Built-in font choices #
Quote & Cut includes these font choices:
- Inter.
- Montserrat.
- Georgia.
- Times New Roman.
- Arial.
- Helvetica Neue.
- System UI.
- Verdana.
- Trebuchet MS.
Recommended font setup #
For most websites, use one of these approaches:
Simple setup
Leave all fields on Default.
Brand-matched setup
Set Headings, Buttons, and Prices to match your website branding, while leaving Body text and Inputs on Default.
Clean readability setup
Use one clear sans-serif font across all fields.
Avoid using too many fonts #
Using too many different fonts can make the form feel inconsistent.
For most sites, one or two font families is enough.
Saving typography #
After changing typography, click:
Save Styles
Then check the live preview and the frontend quote form.
