Applies to: Enterprise
Quote & Cut Enterprise adds advanced business tools for managing material sheet stock and keeping material prices aligned with market movements.
Enterprise includes two main feature areas:
- Sheet Inventory.
- Material Market Indexing.
Enterprise requires both the core Quote & Cut plugin and the Quote & Cut Advanced add-on.
What Enterprise adds #
With Enterprise, you can:
- Enable sheet stock tracking.
- Add sheet stock quantities to materials.
- Automatically reduce sheet stock when orders are placed or moved into active order statuses.
- Restore sheet stock when orders are cancelled, failed, refunded, trashed, or deleted.
- Configure low stock and out-of-stock thresholds.
- Send WooCommerce email notifications when sheet stock crosses thresholds.
- Use each material’s Material Type to control market indexing.
- Assign materials to market index types.
- Automatically update indexed material prices weekly.
- Preserve Enterprise settings if Enterprise access is paused.
Enterprise requirements #
To use Enterprise features, you need:
- Quote & Cut installed and active.
- Quote & Cut Advanced installed and active.
- Quote & Cut Enterprise installed and active.
- A connected Quote & Cut account that includes Enterprise access.
- A working API key and site binding.

Where Enterprise settings appear #
Enterprise adds settings in a few places.
Sheet Inventory settings appear in:
Quote & Cut → Settings → Sheet Inventory
Enterprise also adds extra fields to the material table in:
Quote & Cut → Settings → Materials
These fields include:
- Market Index Type.
- Sheet Stock.
- Last Market Refresh.
To change which market index a material follows, edit the material’s Type under Edit details.
WooCommerce email settings for stock alerts are configured in:
WooCommerce → Settings → Emails
Sheet Inventory #
Sheet Inventory lets you track how many sheets are available for each material.
When a Quote & Cut order is placed, Enterprise can reduce sheet stock based on the sheet usage calculated for the job.
If an order is later cancelled, refunded, failed, trashed, or deleted, Enterprise can restore the stock.
Material Market Indexing #
Material Market Indexing uses each material’s Material Type to decide which market index the material follows.
The mapping is:
- Aluminium → Aluminium index.
- Carbon Steel → Carbon Steel index.
- Galvanised Steel → Carbon Steel index.
- Stainless Steel → Stainless Steel index.
- Other → Not indexed.
When automatic weekly updates are enabled, indexed materials can be repriced using the Quote & Cut market-index feed.
Materials set to Other are skipped.
