Applies to: Enterprise
Use this guide if Enterprise features are not appearing, stock is not changing, or material indexing is not updating prices.
Enterprise will not activate #
Check:
- Quote & Cut is installed and active.
- Quote & Cut Advanced is installed and active.
- You are uploading the correct Enterprise plugin ZIP.
- Your site meets the WordPress and PHP requirements.
Enterprise requires both the core plugin and Advanced add-on.
Enterprise features are paused #
Check:
- API key is saved.
- Site binding is active.
- Account status is connected.
- Your account includes Enterprise access.
- Quote & Cut Enterprise is active.
- Quote & Cut Advanced is active.
- Account status has been refreshed.
Go to:
Quote & Cut → Settings
Then click:
Refresh account status
Sheet Stock column is missing #
Check:
- Quote & Cut Enterprise is active.
- Enterprise Sheet Inventory is available on your account.
- Sheet Management has been enabled.
- You are viewing the material table under Quote & Cut → Settings → Materials.
- The page has been refreshed after saving settings.
If Sheet Management is not available, the Sheet Stock column may be hidden or disabled.
Sheet Stock fields are disabled #
This usually means Enterprise Sheet Inventory access is not currently available.
Check your account status and refresh the connection.
Saved sheet stock values may be preserved while the fields are disabled.
Stock did not reduce after an order #
Check:
- Sheet Management was enabled before the quote was calculated.
- The order contains Quote & Cut job data.
- The order contains sheet inventory usage.
- The order status is Pending payment, On hold, Processing, or Completed.
- The material ID still matches the material row.
- Enterprise access was active when the stock movement was attempted.
- Stock was not already reduced for that order.
Stock did not restore after cancellation #
Check:
- The order previously reduced stock.
- The order moved to Cancelled, Refunded, Failed, Trash, or Delete.
- The order still contains inventory usage data.
- The material ID still exists in the material table.
- Stock had not already been restored for that order.
Stock changed by the wrong amount #
Check:
- The quote used the expected material.
- Material sheet length and width are correct.
- The order usage is based on equivalent sheets.
- The order was not pricing-only or skipped-layout in a way that affected estimated sheet usage.
- The order has not been manually edited.
- Material IDs have not changed.
- Stock has not been manually adjusted separately.
Low stock email did not send #
Check:
- Sheet Management is enabled.
- Low sheet stock email is enabled in WooCommerce.
- Recipient email is correct.
- Stock crossed the low stock threshold from above to equal or below.
- Stock did not also cross the out-of-stock threshold.
- WooCommerce emails are sending normally.
- The email is not in spam or junk.
Out-of-stock email did not send #
Check:
- Sheet Management is enabled.
- Out of sheet stock email is enabled in WooCommerce.
- Recipient email is correct.
- Stock crossed the out-of-stock threshold from above to equal or below.
- WooCommerce emails are sending normally.
- The email is not in spam or junk.
Market Index is not editable #
This is expected.
Enterprise Market Indexing now follows the material’s core Material Type.
The Market Index itself is shown as market data and is not edited directly.
To change the market index used by a material, go to:
Quote & Cut → Settings → Materials → Edit details
Then change the material’s Material Type.
If Market Indexing access is paused, market data is preserved but automatic repricing is paused.
Material prices are not updating weekly #
Check:
- Enterprise Market Indexing is available.
- Automatically update indexed material prices weekly is enabled.
- Materials are set to Aluminium, Carbon Steel, Galvanised Steel, or Stainless Steel.
- Materials are not set to Other.
- The site’s WordPress cron system is working.
- The site can reach the Quote & Cut market-index feed.
- The material has a valid cost.
- Last Market Refresh has changed after the scheduled run.
Remember: Galvanised Steel follows the Carbon Steel index.
A material updated unexpectedly #
Check:
- The material’s Material Type.
- Whether automatic weekly updates are enabled.
- Whether the material was set to Aluminium, Carbon Steel, Galvanised Steel, or Stainless Steel.
- Whether the material should instead be set to Other.
- Whether the cost was manually edited and then re-anchored for future market movement.
If a Galvanised Steel material updated using the Carbon Steel index, this is expected.
A material did not update but others did #
Check:
- The material is not set to Other.
- The material has a valid cost.
- The Material Type is correct.
- Market Indexing is available.
- Last Market Refresh for that row.
- Whether the material row was newly added and saved correctly.
Account status looks outdated #
If the account status does not show Enterprise features after upgrading:
- Go to Quote & Cut → Settings.
- Click Refresh account status.
- Save settings if needed.
- Reload the page.
- Check Enterprise feature labels again.
