After a customer completes checkout, Quote & Cut job data is saved to the WooCommerce order.

You can review the order from:

WooCommerce → Orders

Open the order you want to review.

Quote & Cut Parts #

Inside the order item area, Quote & Cut adds a Quote & Cut Parts section.

This section shows the parts included in the job.

For each part, you may see:

  • Part preview.
  • Part number.
  • File name.
  • Material.
  • Quantity.
  • Weight.
  • Material and cutting cost per part.
  • Secondary Process details, if used.

Print Parts List #

The Quote & Cut Parts section includes a Print Parts List button.

Use this if you want to print the part details for workshop paperwork, job bags, or internal review.

The Quote & Cut Parts section includes a Download PDF button.

Use this to download a PDF version of the parts list.

This is useful for production handover, office records, or checking the job away from the WooCommerce order screen.

Quote & Cut Files #

The order screen also includes a Quote & Cut Files meta box.

This section contains downloadable files attached to the order.

Depending on your settings and the job result, it can include:

  • Nesting Results.
  • Standard Nested DXFs.
  • Editable Nested DXFs.
  • Editable Nested DXFs Per Sheet.
  • Inner/Outer Layered DXFs.
  • Inner/Outer Layered DXFs Per Sheet.
  • Inner/Outer Layered DXFs Per Part.
  • Inner/Outer Layered DXFs Per Part Per Sheet.
  • Original DXFs.
  • Folding Drawings, if Advanced is active and drawings were uploaded.

If no files are shown #

If the Quote & Cut Files box says no files have been attached, check:

  • The order contains a Quote & Cut job.
  • The customer calculated the price before checkout.
  • Generated order files were enabled at the time.
  • The original DXF files were saved correctly.
  • The website can write files to the upload folder.
  • The job completed successfully.
  • The files have not been manually deleted from the server.

Layout status notices #

Some jobs may show a layout status notice.

For example:

  • Nesting layout generated in simplified mode.
  • Nesting layout was not generated.

This can happen when the customer was priced successfully, but the online layout output was simplified or skipped for technical reasons.

If you see one of these notices, read the message and reason shown in the order screen.

Hidden technical metadata #

Quote & Cut stores technical metadata on the order item, but it hides most raw metadata from the standard WooCommerce order meta display.

Use the Quote & Cut Parts and Quote & Cut Files sections rather than trying to read raw order meta.

Recommended order review #

For every Quote & Cut order, check:

  • Payment status.
  • Customer details.
  • Shipping or collection method.
  • Parts list.
  • Materials.
  • Quantities.
  • Secondary Processes.
  • Downloadable files.
  • Any warnings or layout notices.
  • Customer order notes.
