Applies to: Enterprise
Enterprise can send WooCommerce email notifications when sheet stock crosses your stock thresholds.
There are two stock alert emails:
- Low sheet stock.
- Out of sheet stock.
Where to configure email notifications #
Go to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Emails
Look for:
- Low sheet stock.
- Out of sheet stock.
Each email can be enabled, disabled, and configured like other WooCommerce emails.
Where to configure thresholds #
Go to:
Quote & Cut → Settings → Sheet Inventory
Set:
- Low stock threshold.
- Out of stock threshold.
Low sheet stock email #
The low sheet stock email is sent when a material’s stock moves from above the low stock threshold to equal or below it.
Example:
- Low stock threshold:
2 - Old stock:
2.5 - New stock:
1.5
A low stock email can be sent.
Out of sheet stock email #
The out of sheet stock email is sent when a material’s stock moves from above the out-of-stock threshold to equal or below it.
Example:
- Out of stock threshold:
0 - Old stock:
0.4 - New stock:
0
An out-of-stock email can be sent.
Out-of-stock takes priority #
If a stock movement crosses both thresholds at once, the out-of-stock email is sent instead of the low-stock email.
Example:
- Low stock threshold:
2 - Out-of-stock threshold:
0 - Old stock:
3 - New stock:
0
The out-of-stock email is sent.
Email recipients #
Each email has its own recipient setting in WooCommerce email settings.
The default recipient is usually the WordPress admin email.
You can enter multiple recipients separated by commas.
Email placeholders #
The subject and heading can use placeholders such as:
{site_title}{material_name}
These work like WooCommerce email placeholders.
Email content #
The stock email can include:
- Material name.
- Old stock.
- New stock.
- Threshold crossed.
- Site URL.
- Additional email content, if configured.
When emails are sent #
Stock emails are sent when sheet stock is reduced and crosses a threshold.
They are not sent every time stock remains below a threshold.
For example, if stock is already below the low stock threshold, another order may not send another low stock alert unless the stock first moves back above the threshold and then crosses it again.
Testing stock emails #
To test emails:
- Enable Sheet Management.
- Configure recipients under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails.
- Set a test material’s stock just above the threshold.
- Place a test order that reduces stock below the threshold.
- Check that the email is received.
- Repeat for the out-of-stock threshold.
If emails are not received #
Check:
- Sheet Management is enabled.
- Enterprise access is active.
- Email notification is enabled in WooCommerce.
- Recipient email is correct.
- Stock crossed the threshold from above to equal or below.
- The order reduced stock.
- WooCommerce email sending works.
- Site email delivery is configured correctly.
- Emails are not in spam or junk.
