Applies to: Advanced, Enterprise

Quote & Cut Advanced features depend on both the installed plugin and your connected Quote & Cut account.

Installing the plugin adds the Advanced code to your website, but your account must also include Advanced or Enterprise access before Secondary Processes can be used for new quotes.

Checking Advanced access #

Go to:

Quote & Cut → Settings

Then check the account status panel.

Look for account features such as:

  • Secondary Processes.
  • Advanced processing.

If you recently purchased or upgraded, click:

Refresh account status

What “paused” means #

If your connected account does not currently include Advanced processing, the Secondary Processes page may show a paused message.

Your saved folding and powder coating settings are preserved, but new quotes will not include Secondary Process options until the connected account includes Advanced or Enterprise access.

What is preserved while paused #

When Advanced processing is paused, Quote & Cut preserves:

  • Folding settings.
  • Powder coating settings.
  • Customer instruction text.
  • Folding limits.
  • Powder coating limits.
  • Colour table.
  • Finish prices.
  • Other Colour settings.
  • Surcharge bands.

These settings are shown for reference only while paused.

Can users change paused settings? #

When Secondary Processes are paused, the settings are disabled and changes cannot be saved.

The configuration becomes editable again when the connected account includes Advanced processing.

Why Advanced may be paused #

Advanced features may be paused if:

  • The API key is missing.
  • The site binding is not active.
  • Account status has not been refreshed.
  • The connected account does not include Advanced or Enterprise.
  • A subscription or plan has expired.
  • The website cannot reach the Quote & Cut account service.
  • The wrong API key is being used.
  • Advanced has been installed but the account has not been upgraded.

Restoring Advanced access #

To restore Advanced access:

  1. Confirm your account includes Advanced or Enterprise.
  2. Confirm the correct API key is being used.
  3. Confirm the correct site binding is active.
  4. Go to Quote & Cut → Settings.
  5. Click Refresh account status.
  6. Return to Quote & Cut → Secondary Processes.

If access still looks wrong #

Check:

  • You are logged into the correct quoteandcut.com account.
  • The API key belongs to the account that purchased Advanced.
  • The site binding belongs to the same API key.
  • Advanced is active in Plugins → Installed Plugins.
  • The site can make outbound requests.
  • Your plan or subscription is active.

Enterprise users #

Enterprise customers should also have access to Secondary Processes because Enterprise requires Advanced.

If Enterprise is active but Secondary Processes are paused, refresh the account status and check that both Advanced and Enterprise plugins are active.
