Quote & Cut displays the customer quote form using a shortcode.
The shortcode is:
[quoteandcut]
Step 1: Create or edit a page #
In WordPress, go to:
Pages → Add New Page
or open an existing page where you want the quote form to appear.
For example, you might create a page called:
Instant Laser Cutting Quote
Step 2: Add the shortcode #
Add a Shortcode block, Paragraph block, or suitable editor block.
Paste:
[quoteandcut]
Step 3: Publish or update the page #
Click Publish or Update.
Then view the page on the frontend of your website.
What the form allows customers to do #
The form lets customers:
- Upload one or more DXF files.
- Select a material for each part.
- Enter quantities.
- Apply one material to all parts.
- Preview uploaded parts.
- Calculate a price.
- Add the quote to the cart.
If Advanced is active and configured, the form can also show Secondary Process options such as folding and powder coating.
Form layouts #
Quote & Cut includes different frontend form styles.
You can adjust the form style from:
Quote & Cut → Styles
Available layouts include:
- Classic.
- Studio.
- Workbench.
Choose the layout that best fits your website and customer experience.
If the form does not appear #
Check the following:
- The shortcode is typed exactly as
[quoteandcut]. - The Quote & Cut plugin is active.
- WooCommerce is active.
- At least one material is configured.
- The page is published.
- The current user has access if form access restriction is enabled.
