Quote & Cut Advanced is a paid add-on for Quote & Cut.
It adds Secondary Processes to the quoting workflow, allowing customers to request extra services on individual parts before calculating a price.
The main Advanced features are:
- Folding.
- Powder coating.
- Folding drawing uploads.
- Powder coating colour and finish selection.
- Secondary Process pricing.
- Secondary Process limits and restrictions.
- Secondary Process details in WooCommerce orders.
Enterprise customers also use Advanced features, because Quote & Cut Enterprise requires Quote & Cut Advanced.
What Advanced adds #
Quote & Cut Advanced adds a new admin page:
Quote & Cut → Secondary Processes
This page lets you configure:
- Folding availability.
- Folding setup fee.
- Folding price per fold.
- Folding minimum charge.
- Folding size and weight limits.
- Folding material and thickness restrictions.
- Folding drawing uploads.
- Powder coating availability.
- Powder coating limits.
- Powder coverage rate.
- Powder setup fee.
- Powder coating minimum charge.
- Powder coating per-part charge.
- RAL colours.
- Finish-level prices.
- Other Colour manual quote flow.
What customers see #
When Advanced is active and configured, customers may see a Secondary processes section on the quote form.
Depending on your settings, they can choose:
- Add folding.
- Add powder coating.
These options are selected per part.
For example, one uploaded part can have folding, another part can have powder coating, and another part can have no Secondary Processes.
What admins manage #
As a site admin, you manage:
- Whether folding is offered.
- Whether powder coating is offered.
- Which materials and thicknesses can use folding.
- Which part sizes and weights can use each process.
- How folding is priced.
- How powder coating is priced.
- Which colours and finishes customers can choose.
- Whether Other Colour requires a manual quote.
- Customer instruction text.
- Test orders and WooCommerce order review.
Advanced does not replace core pricing #
Advanced costs are added on top of the normal Quote & Cut laser-cutting price.
The final quote can include:
- Base cutting price.
- Material price.
- Gas and machine time.
- Markups and minimum prices.
- Folding charges.
- Powder coating charges.
- Secondary Process setup fees.
- Secondary Process minimum charges.
- Secondary Process surcharges.
Configure your normal materials and pricing before configuring Advanced.
Recommended setup order #
Set up Advanced in this order:
- Install and activate Quote & Cut.
- Connect your API key and site binding.
- Install and activate Quote & Cut Advanced.
- Refresh account status.
- Configure normal materials and pricing.
- Open Quote & Cut → Secondary Processes.
- Configure folding, if required.
- Configure powder coating, if required.
- Test the quote form.
- Place a test order.
- Review the WooCommerce order data.
