Sheet Management must be enabled before Quote & Cut can track material sheet stock.
Requirements #
Before enabling Sheet Management, check:
- Quote & Cut is active.
- Quote & Cut Advanced is active.
- Quote & Cut Enterprise is active.
- Your connected account includes Enterprise Sheet Inventory.
- API key and site binding are connected.
- Materials are configured.
Enable Sheet Management #
Go to:
Quote & Cut → Settings → Sheet Inventory
Tick:
Enable sheet management
Then click:
Save Settings
If the setting is disabled #
If the Sheet Management checkbox is disabled, your connected account may not currently include Enterprise Sheet Inventory.
Check:
- Account status.
- API key.
- Site binding.
- Enterprise subscription.
- Whether Quote & Cut Enterprise is active.
Then click:
Refresh account status
Configure thresholds #
The Sheet Inventory section includes:
- Low stock threshold.
- Out of stock threshold.
These thresholds are used for WooCommerce stock alert emails.
Low stock threshold #
The low stock threshold controls when a low stock email is triggered.
Default value:
2
If stock moves from above the threshold to equal or below the threshold, Quote & Cut can send a low stock email.
Example:
If the threshold is 2, a material moving from 2.5 sheets to 1.8 sheets can trigger a low stock alert.
Out of stock threshold #
The out of stock threshold controls when an out-of-stock email is triggered.
Default value:
0
If stock moves from above the threshold to equal or below the threshold, Quote & Cut can send an out-of-stock email.
Example:
If the threshold is 0, a material moving from 0.4 sheets to 0 sheets can trigger an out-of-stock alert.
Email settings #
Stock email notifications are configured in:
WooCommerce → Settings → Emails
Look for:
- Low sheet stock.
- Out of sheet stock.
Save Settings #
After enabling Sheet Management and setting thresholds, click:
Save Settings
Then go to the Materials section and add sheet stock values.
Testing after enabling #
After enabling Sheet Management:
- Add sheet stock to a test material.
- Place a test Quote & Cut order using that material.
- Check the material stock value after checkout.
- Change the order to a restore status, such as Cancelled.
- Check that stock is restored.
- Test threshold emails with a controlled stock value.
