The Quote & Cut settings page is the main control centre for your quoting workflow.
This is where you connect your Quote & Cut account, review your licence status, adjust general settings, control quote form behaviour, manage output files, and configure checkout behaviour.
To open the settings page, go to:
WordPress Dashboard → Quote & Cut
or:
WordPress Dashboard → Quote & Cut → Settings
What you can manage from the settings page #
The main settings page includes sections for:
- API key and account connection.
- Activation token or site binding.
- Account and licence status.
- Quote form shortcode.
- Frontend preview visibility.
- Optional Powered by Quote & Cut credit.
- Generated order files.
- Currency.
- Machine hourly rate.
- Handling cost.
- Sheet gap behaviour.
- Material sheet limits.
- Checkout and delivery behaviour.
- Materials.
- Material types.
- Pricing model and markups.
- Gas costs.
- Form access restrictions.
- Rate limiting.
- Diagnostics.
- Uninstall behaviour.
Some paid add-ons may add extra settings to the Quote & Cut admin area.
Account status panel #
At the top of the settings page, Quote & Cut shows the current account connection status.
This panel helps you check whether:
- An API key is saved.
- The website is connected to your Quote & Cut account.
- The correct account type is active.
- Your plan features are available.
- Quota information is available, if applicable.
- The site binding is connected correctly.
If the account status looks wrong, use the Refresh account status button.
Settings form #
Most Quote & Cut settings are saved using the main Save Settings button at the bottom of the settings page.
After changing settings, always click Save Settings before testing the quote form again.
Quick action buttons #
The settings page includes quick action buttons for:
Run Setup Wizard
Use this if you want to return to the setup wizard and apply starter values again.
Edit Styles
Use this to open the Quote & Cut style editor and adjust the frontend form design.
Important note about pricing and materials #
The settings page includes pricing, material, markup, and gas cost options.

Recommended setup order #
For most websites, configure Quote & Cut in this order:
- Connect your API key and site binding.
- Check the account status panel.
- Set your currency.
- Review machine and nesting settings.
- Configure materials and pricing.
- Configure generated order files.
- Configure checkout and delivery behaviour.
- Set access and rate limits.
- Run a test quote.
- Place a test order.
