When Quote & Cut Advanced is active, Secondary Process selections are saved with the WooCommerce order.

This lets your team review folding and powder coating requirements after checkout.

Where Secondary Process details appear #

Open the WooCommerce order:

WooCommerce → Orders → Open Order

In the Quote & Cut Parts section, each part can show Secondary Process details.

Depending on the customer’s selections, you may see:

  • Powder Coating Colour.
  • Number of Folds.
  • Fold Instructions.
  • Folding cost per part.
  • Powder coating cost per part.

Folding information #

If folding was selected for a part, the order can show:

  • Number of folds.
  • Fold instructions.
  • Folding cost per part.
  • Folding drawing, if uploaded.

Folding drawings #

Uploaded folding drawings appear in the Quote & Cut Files box under:

Folding Drawings

The file name shown is taken from the uploaded drawing where possible.

Powder coating information #

If powder coating was selected for a part, the order can show:

  • Powder coating colour.
  • Finish level.
  • Powder coating cost per part.

The colour and finish are shown together as a readable label.

Secondary Process totals #

Quote & Cut stores Secondary Process breakdown data with the order item.

Depending on the display context, order data may include:

  • Folding total.
  • Powder coating total.
  • Powder groups.
  • Secondary Process total.

WooCommerce emails #

Secondary Process details can also appear in WooCommerce order emails.

For example, emails may include powder coating colour and per-part process costs.

Review before production #

Before starting production, check:

  • Which parts need folding.
  • Number of folds.
  • Fold instructions.
  • Folding drawings.
  • Which parts need powder coating.
  • Powder colour.
  • Finish level.
  • Quantity.
  • Whether any customer notes affect production.

If Secondary Process details are missing #

Check:

  • Quote & Cut Advanced was active when the order was placed.
  • Secondary Processes were enabled and configured.
  • The customer selected the process before calculating.
  • The quote was recalculated after selecting Secondary Processes.
  • The customer added the calculated quote to the cart.
  • The order item contains Quote & Cut job data.

Important production note #

Secondary Process details should be reviewed alongside the customer’s DXF files and any uploaded drawings.

Do not rely on colour names, fold counts, or notes alone where a drawing is required for production.
