Onboarding
Quote & Cut has a lot of settings, because a laser cutting shop has a lot of pricing rules. We don’t leave you to work them out alone. On every Advanced and Enterprise plan we set the plugin up with you over Google Meet, option by option, until your quote form is live and priced on your own numbers. And if you don’t have a WordPress website yet, Advanced Yearly and Enterprise plans include one, built or converted for free.
What's Included
Starter is free, so it comes with the setup wizard and the documentation. Paid plans come with us.
Starter is our free plan, so it doesn’t include onboarding or a website. Upgrade to Advanced and the onboarding session is included, and on the yearly plan the website is too. See the plans and prices.
The Onboarding Session
The plugin can price almost any way a laser cutting shop prices, which means there are a lot of settings. Set them well and every quote is right; set them badly and every quote is wrong. So we go through them with you on a screen share, enter your numbers together, and explain what each one does and when you’d change it. By the end, your quote form is live on your site and you’ve run a test order through your own checkout.
Onboarding is free on every Advanced and Enterprise plan, monthly or yearly. There’s nothing to buy and no limit on questions.
Free Website
Quote & Cut is a WordPress plugin, so it needs a WordPress site to live on. If you don’t have one, we’ll provide it. On Advanced Yearly, Enterprise Monthly and Enterprise Yearly plans, we convert your existing website to WordPress or build you a new one of up to five pages, free of charge, with the quote form installed and ready. A five-page site usually takes about a week once we have your content, and that includes moving your existing text and images across.
Larger websites with more pages are no problem; we’ll quote for those separately once we’ve seen what you have. Hosting is not included: see below.
Hosting
Hosting is not part of the free website, but we can provide it. We host on fast LiteSpeed servers, and the right size depends on how busy your site will be: a shop taking a few quotes a day needs less than one taking hundreds. We will recommend a package once we know your expected volume and give you a competitive price for it. Hosting with us is paid for the year up front and is non-refundable. You’re also free to host anywhere you like; the website is yours.
